I don’t know what it is but ever since Memories of Reach I have just been consistently been put on terrible teams or average teams who stand no chance against higher skilled opponents. I’m one of those people who can’t stand a win loss ratio under 50%, and my last few dozen games have been a big contributing factor to this.
You can argue its luck, or my own skill level- yes that’s very valid- but when I suffer through 8 losses in 10 games- there’s gotta be a statue of limitations on that. I can’t ALWAYS be expected to be the best player on my team, so where’s my break?
This would happen to me frequently in the Halo 2: Anniversary playlist in MCC, and it was never a problem in Halo 5 until now. There has to be some inconsistency going on here with setting up matches between teams of equal rankings. The law of averages says that for every devastating loss I suffer, I should also be experiencing an easy win. What gives.
Its extremely annoying when you find yourself continually kicking the bucket over and over again only because luck isn’t on your side. Have I been doing perfect lately? Of course not, but for Yoinks! sake cut me a break here.
I suppose what I really need here is a team- and I’ll admit I don’t have any friends who regular Halo 5. (They all seem to wanna play MCC BTB.) But I really need to find a way to turn this ship around- any volunteers?

ranking is absolutely horrible. Why am I being placed against players who are already ranked. I’m in platinum I should be paired up with other platinum players not diamond and above!!!. This is ridiculous. And I am doing absolutely horrible. I bet my arena K/D dropped dramatically because of it.

What country are you in bud? I’m always looking for new players who understand the game. We play semi regularly, but can be tough some weeks due to life lol Need to have a mic and speak English thought because everyone in my clan can’t speak anything else lol If interested let me know or add me.
My problem is either ranked is competative or it isn’t, 343 can’t make excuses. You should only play people in your division, that’s it.
Something is weird with the rankings since the update. Before the last update I was pretty much always in the gold level ranking… for basically 4 months straight. After doing my ranking qualifying matches I ended up being in platinum. I did not do THAT good. I then found myself being in the bottom 2 of my team pretty much every game… getting max of 10 kills…getting killed over and over. Then I was on a team where we won maybe 2 or 3 in a row and it lifted me to diamond! (After having lost like 10 in a row. This happened to me on SWAT and Slayer. Maybe the population is low? Idk but I have pretty much abandoned those lists for the rest of the season till it gets reset.
