The lack of a cod piece on John’s armor. What they called a “space diaper” but to be honest I like that space diaper it fits the suit well as a whole.

Ya, I would like it if his armor looked basically the same as in Halo 2 and 3 (unless there’s a valid reason he is wearing a different armor that coincides with the canon).
Out of all the things, though, I really didn’t notice that specific piece of his armor.
If the ‘cod piece’ is the area protecting his winga wonga, I would like to say they confirmed it is black now, not green.

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t in the original teaser because it wasn’t completely finished, but wanted to show something. The whole thing about it being black was just a joke.

You guys realize that the “Black codpiece” thing was a joke right? There’ll probably be a complete space-diaper on MC’s armor by release.
Also, if that was, indeed, a codpiece, it was rather…bulgy. And wiggly. So yeah, it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing a space diaper by launch.

Well with that MC replica statue thingy they pinned by the warthog and took a picture of it… it looks normal to me… sorry… but it looks… like… I don’t have a problem with it.
They already said he does have one, it’s just black, like in Reach.
I honestly would prefer the armor with the codpiece myself, but I’m not going to start a thread that it’s a feature that I dislike about a game we know nothing about. Cool down, maybe 343 will change it back since they are so good at pleasing the community.

Well actually they did say that he’s wearing a cod piece in one of the interviews, it’s just black this time. (either matches the color of his inner layer of his suit or it’s covered by the inner layer of his suit)
