Haven is clearly Halo 4’s greatest map. I’d like to see how it plays in Halo 3. If I had the time, I’d remake it myself. If anyone decides to do it, or If one already exists, please let me know.
Haven is the only map I ever want to play SWAT on, playing in hallways was rather fun for me. In Halo 3 the idea is even better.
I suppose “greatest” really is in the eye of the player; honestly I’m tired of seeing it.
It has a simple enough layout, though. Should be too terribly difficult to make.
One does not simply remake Haven with Halo 3’s super-limited forge.
At least that’s what they say. I find Halo 3’s forge to be fun, albeit limited. Reminds me of building blocks from when I was a wee little lad. Is it even POSSIBLE to remake Haven with it?
I dont think Haven would work in H3. Haven works in H4 because it seems to be the only map that works with AAs and Sprint.
For example if you drop from top to bottom you have to travel a long way to get to another lift or ramp(sprint cuts travel time down). Or you need a jet pack to fly back up through an opening.
Take a map like Guardian where there is always a lift or ramp nearby since Halo 3 4v4 maps are tighter and better suited for arena style gameplay.
Haven would have to be much smaller in H3 or movement speed would have to be faster than MLG settings.
I’m not up to it.
However, a lot of the tips, tricks and little stunts people had to pull in Halo 3 to make some amazing maps (like geo-merging) can be found on youtube. Halo Reach had a boring palette but the best Forge (when I found out we could simply set an object to phased! with Co-ordinates! OMG!). A lot of that came from in-game glitching discovered by the community in the prior iteration. Beautiful, intricate maps in Halo 3 are true labors of love.
With that in mind, go for it, use the Forge Luke 
Halo 4 haven fun swat match were u put you ads on the right spot kill every time. Top race track is big in swat no real map play. Ring around the Rosie was the map play? No real play line your ads down hit all the time jump sprint was fun to shake it haven if halo 4 not 3
On that haven is not a fun map no sniper game just a lot of way to play but no real sniping game like the pit. To round to many ways to cover. On infinity slayer no real player even goes for sniper on my range of play at least the sniper sets no one picks it up when u get it re spawns gets you ever time. The pit you can hold it got long hall to look down for over shield. Get in shot gun look down rocket hall fun sniper play where would u go on haven. Open ramp no close ramp no moo hawk no blue close or red close where do u go? Ask that u are open for dmr or br work no real sniper time
