So I join a game of BTB and this is what happened when I started playing.

LOLOLOLOL HAHAHA i had the same issue like 2 mounths ago. It happens due to an internet issue (at least in my case) it was because the connection was laggin, try reseting your router and check again. Maybe it could be on 343 side due to rank resents also?
