Someone please explain this to me.

Can someone explain to me how it is a good thing that we still do not have the classic, fan-favorite game types?
I, like many others, have my complaints about the lack of gametypes we have all come to love in Halo like Oddball. But instead of going all out troll, I would like to gain perspective.
How does this wait for content, we have had on previous Halo’s release date, benefit us? From the studio’s point of view I mean. How does this benefit us?
This is where I build my complaint from:

  1. We had the beta over 10 months before release. (Awesome move considering the MCC problems)
  2. Game types like Oddball, Assault, and Infection have existed for years so they must have a solid foundation for developing each game type already.
  3. We did not have CTF in the beta yet it shipped on disc. This in particular I find valid considering CTF and Assault are pretty similar with two differences: (a.) CTF is retrieval and Assault is delivery. (b.) Assault has a satisfying BANG!

If you are one of the people unsatisfied with this aspect, please do not leave hateful comment towards me or 343.

Having said all that, I still am very much loving this game. The series has been my brother and I’s go-to online shooter for over a decade.

I admit I’ve thought similar things some of the main halo game types are still missing and I would really like to play them. I’m sure theyre working on them and will be released in one of the monthly updates, trying something new and needing content for that thing can be a weird balance at first. I really enjoy the monthly streams about new content but I also would like some of that content at launch (mostly just gametypes) the rest is great!
