Someone needs to tell me ...

  1. Why does almost every map have a plasma caster. Is that just to show off a new weapon and will it be changed, or are they actually obsessed with it.
  2. What is the difference between strongholds and territories/dominion/hardpoint
  3. WHY THE NEW END OF MATCH CELEBRATION IS JUST STANDING AROUND STARING AT THE ROOF INSTEAD OF SHOWING OFF?
  1. 'cuz too much bro fest.
  1. Probably because the PC is a new weapon. I see nothing wrong with showing it off a bit.

  2. In Strongholds, Players must have control of 2 Strongholds in order to gain points. Constant fighting to keep control and thus constant fun.

  3. Because there was a backlash about the ‘bro-down’ and 343 changed it.

First the celebration was too much. Now it’s too little? Make up your minds people gosh

the guys should just like…

Eww bing.

Because they’re Spartans, not High School jocks.

I swear windows 10 edge has it as default so pissin off

  1. Why at the end of a match doesn’t the game promptly end and send us back to the lobby immediately instead of wasting our time with animations?

Majestic would like to disagree

Lol I was wondering about #1 earlier. It shows up too much for sure.

As for Strongholds, you need to hold 2 of the 3 bases to get points.

  1. i have seen one on fathom, empire and in warzone, is there one in the CTF map because i didn’t notice it while watching a game. can’t say we’ve seen many more maps to be honest
  2. i do not know
  3. because poses and such are now unlock-able with req packs and so the default is just standing there

My thought exactly

The idea of strongholds is that one team won’t be scoring any points unless they have at least two zones captured. This is useful for comebacks, since a winning team close to victory can just all camp on one zone so their points slowly tick over to the cap. In strongholds, the losing team still has a chance to win if they hold at least two points even if the winning team is 2 points from victory.

Also the power weapon spawns have been changed around multiple times and are not final (e.g. on Fathom the sniper at the top was replaced with a Railgun in recent footage), they have a plethora of human, covenant and promethean power weapons to use, so save your judgement for the full game.

I had a buddy ask about the differences and I just knew it was more fun but had trouble remembering the differences. Yes camping one point at the end of games was lame and this is the exact reason why Strongholds is simply a better and more evolved Territories. I will always endorse gametypes that encourage fighting and movement over camping.

Can you do that in more recent and relevant threads from now on please?

Thanks!
