I don’t even see this as “discussing mods” though. I see this as revolutionizing Halo for a good cause. It’s just the community letting the devs know what we want. This thread should stay for the good of relationship between 343 and the community, IMO.

Point taken, however, I still believe ultimatums pertaining to rules are silly.
So we can’t even discuss why discussion of modded content isn’t allowed?
Clearly discussion of mods is against rule #34 section 8 line 3 and is as stated: “Community members are restricted from discussing mods for fear of game improvements being made. If said mods were unleashed to the public, community may backlash”. Okay… well maybe that was made up and horribly done, but mods are generally done for the betterment of the game. As long as they aren’t being abused in matchmaking, why bother blocking them?

For those wondering why you can’t discuss this here - because the XBL TOS prohibit modded content. Thus, modded content discussion is not allowed here. If you want to discuss why, go take it up with XBL themselves.
