I understand how Halsey replaced the kids she kidnapped with clones, and how his clone “Died”. But I do not understand the Clone being alive theory, and how it impacts Halo 5 Guardians. Someone please explain!
Some people say that John’s clone never died- and so any mention of John after 6 years old (where he isn’t abducted) is actually just his clone. I don’t support this theory, though, as flash clones had very poor health and no matter what, a flash clone that had lived for 6 years could never take down a kid stronger than him in two swings. It would be surprising if it even lived that long.
ONI Section Two wanted to tell a “nice” story and to cover up the abduction and the cloning. So the man who talks about the twelve-years john is probably lying, and is part of ONI’s cover up. The false story ONI wants is something like “he was so good to do high school boxing at 12 and still win easily, he was abducted by the insurrectionist, so he decided to become a soldier for revenge against them, and given his skills he managed to become spartan and hero”. More or less.

Will we ever get the explanation for the anomaly that was Daisy’s?
Then again, even Halsey said that she was surprised by that particular clone’s longevity, despite the health problems.
