I recorded this clip to basically explain my situation. I really just want some kind of explanation other than the obvious so I’m willing to listen and discuss. I also know full well that it’s probably just my fault somehow as well so if I did do something wrong, let me know haha. Oh, and I can already hear the lazy link comments coming but I’m still kind of a Waypoint n00b so bear with me as I am unable to post actual links yet. (side note, that makes no sense to me) I know that this will probably be a fruitless effort since I’m posting it pretty early, but I wanna know. And when you wanna know, you know. You know? Thanks for whatever help you can give me and enjoy the clip that is also a ghost drivers wet dream at the beginning of a game
So the mixup of gamertags is veryyy weird
But I will say Perfections in Halo has always been required to be completed in Slayer, Strongholds is not Slayer so no Perfection would be awarded
You replaced him just before the game started
As he was spawned in first he will be the registered player as it’s complicated to change identifications mid game
You didn’t get a perfection medal because it wasn’t a slayer gametype

Thank you as well for clearing that up. That is so weird! Also about the perfection, that makes sense in in hindsight, though I think it should be added. I understand the necessity of playing the objective, however, achieving something like that is pretty impressive and deserves to be rewarded.

It is, but with objective type games its easier for example, king of the hill, for someone to just hide away and kill people in the hill, slayer matches always move and rotate and it’s far more impressive to pull one off
