Someone explain something to me please!

How do people get weapons before their Req Level ha arrived?

I’m getting killed by BRs and shotguns when we are winning a game of Warzonew and the game is still at req level 2…

How I this possible?

And don’t say random weapon cards coz you can’t use those at level 2.

Someone please help, this I driving me mad.

Also why, for 90% of every game am I on my own against 4/5 enemies when at the correct objective?!?

Where does everyone go???

Your REQ lvl is different from others REQ lvl, especially the enemy team.

I’m pretty sure you CAN use those cards at level 2.

Same here. Allies are just annoying.

Because everyone has their own req level. I often get level 3 from getting a lot of ai kills and capturing the base before even getting to players

This is pretty much the truth. Even if you have level 2 REQs, enemy players may have level 3 or even level 4 REQs, depending on how many AI kills, player kills, and Base Captures they have done. @Ramir3z77: Actually, Shotguns, BRs, and Random Weapon cards all require at least level 3 REQs. All one can call in at level 2 are the Magnum, all standard, Kinetic Bolts, and Silencer ARs, all Mongooses, all Warthogs, except ONI, all Scout hogs, Speed Boost I and II, Storm Rifle, Suppressor, and the lower two variants of Boltshot.

There Is also the RP boost which give you a headstart in warzone match

This is incorrect; the RP boost increases the Req Points awarded at the end of the match for playing, similar to the XP boost.

Why when I use it I start the game with 250 points? I might be mistaken but there is a boost for use that give 250 points at the beginning of a game

Pro-tip: Kill the enemy AIs in the home base and the first armory you come to. If you’re on ARC, nab the sangheili general kill just outside the home base (usually you can crouch behind where he drops down and get a beatdown/assassinate him). Stay in the first armory and get the base capture medal (don’t leave to play vanguard)! All of these things give you points towards REQ levels. Getting to REQ level 3 early on in a warzone match can be pretty easy if you’re just aggressive enough, but not reckless and you develop a routine.

Grab a suppressor on Stormbreak and carry it to the Fortress as soon as you can; they eat through prometheans, even Lochagos. Splinter grenades are better, but they are rare and a suppressor is easier to get. That’s how the people who kill him so quickly do it.

Apex 7… I got nothin’. Hunters are hard as hell to take down in this game. Lots of bullets and grenades and respawning early on, because if the hunters don’t kill you, the other team will while you’re dividing your attention.

Well that explains everything doesn’t it :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks folks!

For some bizarre reason I thought it was tied to team progress…

your req level is yours, others can rank up faster if they get more kills and do more objectives. The req level isn’t universally shared by everyone, it is yours and yours alone, except for Warzone assault after the patch, now everyone ON YOUR TEAM shares a req level.

no, boosts only give you more RP or XP at the END of a match.

Don’t worry, i was on the same boat until i figured out that REQ levels where separate for each player.

lots of good info here. I was wondering the same thing last night. I got capped by a BR at req lvl 2… thought I was going insane!

Aww. Your sharing all the secrets of common sense. Tsk tsk. Now it’s gunna be known we’re supposed to kill the AI Annnnd cap bases to win. I was enjoying dropin kids w the br who love cross mapping w the AR.

I thought I remember reading that pre-launch, but pretty quickly discovered it wasn’t true when playing with friends and them saying things like “sweet, got my BR” and I’m sitting at level 2 like “whaaaaaat :(”

Don’t worry, there will always be people who have no idea what they’re doing. And hey, Christmas is around the corner and I’m sure you know what that means.

If you kill several of the beginning enemies, and one or two players at the start of a match, you can get to level 3 and BR in about two minutes. From there you only need a few more kills to get to level 4, and capping an extra base definitely helps.
On most maps the low level bosses will also drop unique weapons like scattershot, fuel rod, or sword.

yeah I noticed the same thing I guessed that it was tied to skill because I am not that good at halo when I finally get my br people are usually always a rank above me

You can pull out a BR or shotgun at req level 3 witch is easy to get if you kill enough AIs in your home base and capturer the armory. There are many games I play where my team captures our armory and is contesting the other teams armory before they even get a chance to claim it.

As for always ending up fighting battles alone I would suggest you start playing with a fireteam that communicates and works together.
