Hello guys, I have a li’l big problem. I made a halo 5 video and another YouTube channel used a part of it in a part of their video, without calling my channel or even my name. I’m not even inn the description of the video.
cause I’m not so good at English I can’t understand the Microsoft content usage rules really. Some of the admiins of the other channel said, that I done own any rights on my gameplays, cause they’re public on YouTube.
someone can help me to understand the content usage rules of Microsoft and how I can take down the copied video?
These guys are playing you. They can’t use your clip without getting your consent or without at least crediting you.

No, but you can get them to remove your clip or at least declare that the clip belongs to you.

hmmm okay but my clip is a part of a bigger clip from them
pretty sure if the clip was taken from within theater, it’s fair game. Not sure about live stream, but you can get the equivalent from theater. My guess is you are screwed.

i took the cclip from a live game with the DVR, aaaaand no one of the guys who copied my clip was in the game.

Kay I’m going to ask an obvious question, not being mean but serious question.
Does this particularly matter? Are you losing money on this or something? Is somebody using it in an illegal fashion? Is this affecting your reputation or standing within a community?
I’m just pointing this out, because chances are the clip will sink to the bottom of the YouTube sea and nobody is going to remember it in 3 months… Unless I’m missing something here, I’m pretty ignorant of YouTube, in general I have no time for it so sorry if I’m misinterpreting this,

no Problem, but I have often problems with the other guys cause of my kind of vview that I like or don’t like halo 5

Oh I see, well I’m not sure what you can do about it. Unless there is a way to anthenticate your claim and have YouTube remove it. Honestly I’m not sure you even have any rights to it anyway, those may belong to 343 and Microsoft.
