many of us have lived spartan ops campaign … alone or with our friends … we had the patience to connect the internet from our xbox 360 and see if there was a new episode available to play … others stayed with wanting more story after overcoming the campaign HALO 4., but since that period of intrigue and wait is over. we have a full season … and without any possibility of continuing the same with a second season …
I wonder if 343 industries would have thought of an update to play spartan ops missions disconnected from internet … just … having the missions downloaded on your hard drive without any need of internet … I say this for effect play alone … and I also say when the xbox 360 is discontinued in the future and we can enjoy this extra campaign in our consoles … I speak for those who still keep their xbox 360 … and … . my proposal is not a bad idea … just depends if my opinion is heard by 343.

Which is stupid in itself because the second half of season 1 was downloadable. They could’ve just packed it in there.

Eh, I feel like they want people to use the least amount of hard drive space as possible. The fact they already forced you to install Disc Two data was bad enough.
Either way, they should have included an option to download them locally and let people play it offline as soon as the Season was done and they confirmed no Season 2 would be coming.

Which was also stupid in itself, probably should’ve just named it Spartan Ops if they weren’t 100% sure of feedback. Though I must admit I do enjoy SO in my own way, tis nice to just mercilessly slaughter things.
I think it keeps me sane.
They could always allow for spartan ops to be played via a silver account solo or in local split screen, but require gold for coop over xbox live. This would allow friends to play spartan ops on a single console split screen and allow the spartan ops matchmaking to go unimpeded. I’ll be picking up Xbox Live again here soon and will play through the rest of spartan ops before jumping back into competitive multiplayer, but it would be nice if spartan ops didn’t require gold to do split screen coop or solo spartan ops.
