Here are just some ideas for H4 weapons I thought of with some pictures that seem like likely matches discription wise. Hope you enjoy.
Gauss Rifle- cross between splazer and sniper rifle. if sniper gets toned down to its none vehicle mameing old self this would seem to be a good anti-vehicle replacement

Brute Spike Rifle- AR verson of the spiker, can be a heavy assult rifle ( more damage and maybe a three shot burst)

Proto Rifle- the unsc prototype lmg rifle (significantly stronger and accurate than AR)
SMGv2- unsc weaponry progression with odst attatchments
Particle Rifle- a sucsessor to the beam rifle (give it a cool alien design and it might work)

Plasma Gautlet- sorry for bland name, sort of like a plasma rocket launcher

I would like an M99 Stanchion Gauss Rifle. Sergeant Johnson once used it in Operation Trebuchet way back in the days of the Insurrection. Turned a guy into paste with the thing. It would have to be a single shot weapon with a decent recharge rate (for the magnetic coils to spin up since its like a gauss turret or if you wanna go overboard with the comparison, MAC cannon) maybe ten seconds. It would be able to kill any vehicle one shot and if you see your buddy fly by in a game of ctf, you know he got hit and its time to hit the dirt.

i like it, just thinking though, maybe it could be two shot for warthogs and bigger vehicles. Thats what the splazer needs to be for

Well maybe just increase the recharge time but I think ten seconds is enough to make it balanced. Gauss technology introdused in weaponry can accelerate a projectile to 1/4 the speed of light. For those who cannot comprehend that, its hella fast. You should be able to shoot through small boulders with the thing. two shots on anything with that kind of gun is massive overkill. One shot is overkill for anything smaller than a tank.
Think of it as a splaser replacer. Time for a shock and awe type weapon.

Honestly I never really grew fond of the laser. Everything runs off before it fires. Time for a weapon that will turn that notion around. I want to see a gun that blows up a tank and I hear everyone else go “Holy crap! Did you see that?! Get down!” Everyone runs away after it fires.
BEAM RIFLE!!! Bring an actually Covy sniper back! The focus rifle is an assault rifle, not a sniper. Please put the Beam Rifle back in.
