Things I like to see tweak on the Banshee: 1. make it so that standard barrel rolls, take energy away from energy meter. This wont make it hard to shoot it, with rockets or dmr when the pliot is doing nonething but flips un-stop. 2. Beef up the Hull to Dmr shots, this will hopefully balance the week armor, and the over amount of barrel rolls. 3. Beef up the main plasma weapon. 4. lower the blast radius and, or power of the banshee bomb.
Falcon: I would like to see a warining or hear a beeping sound that warns that you being lock with a rocket luancher. It is very easy to take out a falcon with a laser or rocket launcher.
Revenant: I dont know if it a gitch or not, but I like to see a fix, where a sinper is in the passnger seat. He will get a headshot almost all the time.
Guess hog: I like to see this in matchmaking, but they need to fix that gitch, where it shoot through forge items.
The only problem I have with any of the vehicles is on the Banshee. I think tying the maneuvers into the boost-gauge would alleviate it. The DMR and Sniper can and will take it down one down eventually (as I’m pretty sure that’s the intent) but it can easily move a game by 10 points in less than 30 seconds because of its ability to negate terrain AND boost (getting to spawn locations).
The Scorpion can change a game rather quickly too but it is much more limited by terrain than a Banshee.
Otherwise, I like how the vehicles handle now. I can live with but would prefer the Banshee tweak a little. Will add that the Elites are not as well equipped as the Spartans for dealing with Banshees.
I love how the Tanks can be neutered yet still function as rolling cover or a team-carrier.
Perhaps a damage boost to the Ghost’s weapons vs vehicles.
The banshee needs that, it rolls all over the place, to diificult to get them out. And the Warthog and Ghost need more hit points, or the DMR needs to do less damage to them.

Im going to say that you sir love vehicles in Halo. Why do i say this? Because I am that person, and you have said exactly what i have been thinking from the start. I almost want to add you to my friends list.

Remember when people used to fear the Warthog.
This is one of only a handful of issues I have with Halo Reach. I love this game but as with everything else it could be better, IMO anyway.

Definetly man, I remember the Warthog was a monster that could not be stopped. A team would have to rush one of the power weapons just to have a chance on taking it out. Now vehicles feel useless due the DMR damage and nades being overpowered. The epic battles between infantry and vehicles does not exist anymore in Reachs current state.

Yeah, in the past I didn’t mind getting nailed with a Rocket or with the laser. However, now it just bugs me to get banged up so much by the DMR (this goes for all vehicles not just the Hog). I also agree that the physics of the Hog are off. I love how fluid it feels but I wish it wasn’t so prone to flipping. I have adjusted to it and can drive it fairly well. I just wish it was a bit more stable.

Yeah, if I remember right I used default controls and it was the B button. It wasn’t used as much because so many people didn’t know it was there after it was removed from Halo 2.

I’d like that too. Not that it concerns me anymore, though. Also, perhaps the Ghost’s weapons could be buffed a bit. I didn’t play much BTB in Reach, but when I did it was quite rare to actually see people using the Ghost’s weapons. They just rammed people…
For them to be buffed up. I like the whole roll around effect, but the tank could barely pass over a piece of scrap from an exploded banshee. Its ridiculous. Don’t actually make them stronger though, they are at the perfect balance right now, just please make it so that they don’t fly off when you hit an inactive grenade.
