I’ve been watching a lot of Halo 4 videos on Youtube, Waypoint, IGN, Gamespot, and just about everything I can get my hands on. I don’t think Halo: Reach was a very good game because it was too different from previous installments. But Halo 4 looks like a giant step in the best direction possible, returning to many of the key foundations that make Halo the great franchise that it is. That said, I do have a couple of concerns.
First is the Active Camo Armor Ability. Here in the later days of Reach, most everyone uses either Armor Lock or Active Camo. Personally, that’s most of what I see in matchmaking and it makes the game difficult to enjoy. When I saw that Armor Lock was no longer in Halo 4, I knelt down and thanked the Forerunners for this almighty blessing. But I’ve seen that Active Camo is still in Matchmaking, now called War Games, and is largely unchanged. I’m worried that a lot of people will continue to exploit it, especially now they don’t have to sacrifice Sprint to use it.
Second is the Infinity Slayer option to spawn with a Battle Rifle or some other headshot-capable weapon and a Plasma Pistol, known as the “Noob Combo” by the Halo Nation. However, this may not be a problem at all because it appears the Plasma Pistol will now deplete its energy after only a couple of overcharge shots.
Those issues aside, Halo 4 is shaping up to be a fantastic game that will be well worth the 17 month wait since its announcement last June I look forward to the hours upon hours I will spend playing it when it launches on November 6th.
Please post any and all thoughts you have on the subject. Thank you.

That made me laugh.
But as far as the plasma goes, it’s not like if I carry a magnum I plan on using it much so I will rock the plasma and try to at least get in one noob combo most lives. Supposedly it’s magnitism (or whatever it’s called) has been reduced too so we’ll see how it goes.

Changes to camo from reach:
1)Swarm of dots are now blue not red like actual moving enemies
2)If you move with camo, the blue dot you are now flashes red
3)Dots radius is much smaller
4)Camo guy is always in the middle of dot field
So yeh I doubt many players will be using camo
As for Plasma pistol it doesn’t look anything like the H2 PP which was called such since it was virtually guaranteed to drop shields. Heck on 1v1 on midship it was a legit power weapon.
Though as a 12yr vet, h3 50 and reach onyx it will be my go to secondary. The PP spray (not over charge shot) is much easier to land and I have heard it only takes 3 pp shots to drop a shield.

I really hope that they did not say that…
