This is a post of what I think is wrong with Halo 4. Some of you may not agree with me 100% or at all even, but this is what I think. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy the game, but there are some things that just aren’t right. I really want to know how to community feels about this.

Capture the Flag. Remove holding the flag with one hand. It eliminates the whole purpose of having a team protect the carrier. Someone can just go in and grab the flag and kill enemies as they run to their base. Bring back one flag.

Flood. We all know that infection was ruined in Halo: Reach with the removal of Alpha Zombies, so here’s our chance 343. But they failed as well. Flood can only equip swords. That is the automatic removal of fun zombie maps such as Zniper on Halo Ring. (From Halo 3) I mean how hard is it to add one little option, which could lead on to making new great gametypes for everyone to play. Also, the infected in the flood playlist shouldn’t have thruster packs or armor abilities at all and neither should the spartans. Everyone should just have sprint at least.

Regicide. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool that that 343 made up a new gametype, but it is annoying how it’s the only ffa playlist. Since it is 6 person ffa, it should be 1v1v1v1v1v1. But since it’s regicide, the second you get in the lead it’s automatically 5v1, which is quite annoying. I just want simple 6 person slayer where everyone is shooting everyone.
^ Side note: There was a “FFA Throwback” playlist that was in the game for about 1 hour on 11/19/12. Which included KOTH as well as Oddball. I don’t know if that was released by mistake or what, but all I know is that it was fun, and you should bring it back.

STOP MAKING US WAIT. Release MLG, Rumble Pit, Lone Wolves, Team Objective,Team Doubles, Grifball, and Action Sack. Also release the specializations.

ADD OLD GAMETYPES. Add One Flag, VIP, Race, Territories, and INFECTION, not Flood. What harm will it really do to simply give players the option to play old gametypes in custom games?
-CREATE RANKED PLAYLISTS. I feel as if I have nothing to work for except for commendations. I want to play competitively sometimes for ranks, not for the fun of it all the time. AND PLEASE, MANY PEOPLE WANT 1-50 RANKING SYSTEM. BRING IT BACK. (Even though 343 won’t.)

File Browser. Still doesn’t work 2 weeks into the game. Fix it.

Forge. I hate shadows. I understand you want to make the game more realistic, but don’t. I want to be able to forge a symmetrical map in the sky, without one side being completely pitch black. Making the game realistic is cool and all, but if I really wanted realism, I’d be playing BF3. Also, there are no new items in forge except the ones unique to the map.

Sprint should not be permanent. That alone automatically eliminates certain gametype ideas where a player is only supposed to walk very slow, not sprint. I personally think it should be a abilty. (I would settle for an option in game variant settings to turn on and off)
Tl;dr
Basically 343 simply needed to copy and paste Halo 3 and add to it. (Not literally) But hopefully you get what I mean. I basically nick picked things I don’t like, and I’m not doing this to flame 343, I want feedback from the community so they can tell me what they think.
