Composer
With the announcement of the Achievement List, there is one in particular named “Composer”. The Composer is essentially an ancient tool that is used to take the memories of a sentient being into an AI. Alot of people believe also that it can transfer AI to an actual organic body, which may fix Cortana’s “problem”.
Domain
The Domain is where all Forerunner knowledge is stored. There is reason to believe that this Domain may very well be on Requiem. In Halo: CEA’s second terminal, 343 Guilty Spark is seen talking with Instillation 03’s monitor, Requiem is clearly shown. While Requiem is shown, they talk about the “All the knowledge of the Forerunners”.
Theory
In GTTV, Frankie states that “Prometheans are sort of a automatic defense”. Obviously the Prometheans are protecting/preventing us from getting to something but what? I have reason to believe that they may be trying to prevent us from getting to the Domain, and the Composer. Why? Think about it. What could you do with all of the Forerunner’s knowledge? Possibly revealing things such as the location of the Greater Ark, the Librarian, or the other Halos. Think of all the evil the Storm Covenant could do with this knowledge. Some believe that the Didact is the Ancient Evil, though I think theres more to this story than “Rouge” AIs and an “Unbound” Didact. Obviosly there is something more sinister on Requiem, who or what that is yet to be revieled. The Primordium? Precursors? Only time will tell. Hopfully The Thursday War will shed some light on this.
