Some Spectator Mode Questions. Help!

I have seen some threads about this, but I still do not understand some things.

  • How do I find and enable this mode? - Are there certain requirements that have to be met in order to spectate a game? - Does it matter which game mode your friend is in? - Does it only work from the beginning of a match, or can I watch at any time? - Is it live, or is there a delay like Twitch?Any clarity here would be an enormous help!

Your friend need to be in a game. While he or she is in a game and you press X to see your friends list and click their gamertag it will come up with a few options and one of them should be spectate and if it doesnt show wait a minute so.wtimes it takes awhile for it to pop ul

I only see the following options for everyone that I click on.

  • Service Record - Join - Invite To Fireteam - Invite To Party - Friend Options - Gamercard

The games are not always available for viewing. I have 20 or so friends that I can spectate, there is always a few that I can watch, if not all. There is a 10 second delay when viewing in spectate mode. They must be playing the game in order to view them. When you Spectate, you always start from the beginning of each game. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I still have not been able to spectate a match, but hopefully I’ll be able to check one out soon. I’m just trying to unlock the achievement for it.
