I have gotten Silver REQ packs up to the point where it’s refunding me 1500 RP or whatever amount it is instead of giving permanent unlocks. Which means I should be done getting common/uncommon/rare permanents, right?
These items refuse to unlock:
Longshot AR with Bayonet (Uncommon)
SMG with Bayonet (Rare)
Oni Mongoose (Common)
Tundra Mongoose (Common)
Urban Mongoose (Common)
Woodland Mongoose (Common)
Is anyone else aware of this problem?
I don’t know about any Ultra-Rare or higher because I’ve only just started getting Gold REQ packs.
The guns you listed can only be obtained from gold packs and the Mongeese (mongi?) can only be obtained from bronze packs.
Silver packs are supposed to unlock anything that a bronze pack can.
And according to the REQ section of Halowaypoint, the AR/SMG are Uncommon/Rare. Unlockable by Silver.

They unlock most of the things a bronze can. But not all. Though are you seriously going to complain that you have to buy a silver pack and not a bronze? Bronze is 1/4 the price

Here. Let me fix this by saying… My position was ill!
I didn’t realize there were bronze-only unlocks. Decided to toss 1k points at a bronze and got one of the mongeese certifications. It just wasn’t clear to me is all. I hope my tone on your end wasn’t complainy D:

I estimate that silver/bronze REQs are able to unlock between 55 - 65% of all permanent reqs. I really only based that off of my armors though. But it pretty nearly follows suit across the board.
My silver packs are only giving me req points instead of a permanent even though I still have rares to get that I’m getting from gold.
Longshot AR with Bayonet is actually listed as Ultra Rare in the game. Which I find odd, but eh, not like anyone’s willing to use it when we got BR extravaganza going on.
I know this is a very old thread, but wanted to let people know my verdict on the matter Zeezke is correct, there are bronze exclusive unlocks. I can confirm at least the Basic mongeese of Corp and the winter/ arctic camo
All weapon variants with bayonet attachments, no exceptions, are found in gold packs.
Weapons from gold. Vehicles from bronze.
