Several months is probably not fully accurate. The tech preview is a version of the game from most likely around 1-2 months ago. It’s true it’s not a beta. It’s somewhere between an alpha and a beta (as stated by 343 themselves). Most likely we won’t see a true beta version of the game as the game is out in just over 2 months now. As for the cost. No the budget of Halo Infinite was not $500Mil. However even if it was. That amount takes into account many things such as paying the employees and even advertisements for the game rather than just sheer production cost. The true budget us unknown but for a project as big as Halo Infinite a $500Mil budget isn’t out of the picture. Not the mention it’s gonna continue to get new content which will only raise the number. Even if the initial cost isn’t that high it will most likely reach that before the game is done with content.
