Now i don’t own an Xbox one yet(Pardon me).
I only own a Gaming PC and a PS4 but I am planning to get X1 before 2016 and WIIU too.
And I have never played any Halo games online.I have played Halo 1 in 2001 but I was 6 back then…So almost forgot what was my experience with it :'D and saw my cousin playing in 2003.
Even though some sounds might(it do) give me Nostalgia,
I played Destiny.Even though that game has plenty of flaws to call it as a bad game but I really liked it’s PVP(It wasn’t close to perfect either)
I hear lots of the people saying that Halo multiplayer is awesome…It is a Masterpiece.
So i saw lots of reviews and gameplays of Halo 1-4 and even 5 beta.Even though they praised it couldn’t find those much interesting. After playing Destiny PVP I relized it is actually about experiencing,
I played plenty of FPS games. And few arena FPS too.
1)So what do you guys think Halo do better or much better than other multiplayer FPS?
I enjoyed Bloodborne and Infamous Second son on my PS4…2)Do you think buying X1 is worth it?..I want to play Sunset overdrive and Forza too though.
3)What do you think Halo 5 is doing wrong and right??
4)What is your favorite Halo?
5)What is your Tips?
6)Except better balance in Halo…What make Halo PVP better than Destiny’s?

Mostly it’s teamwork and time-to-kill. Most other FPS games (maybe except for Destiny) it’s whoever pulls the trigger first wins. Not Halo. If you’re good at Halo, you can flip almost any encounter in your favor.

Right now, hell yeah. It’s around $350 and it comes with Halo. Can’t beat that.

Halo 5 feels like a modern Halo 3. Everyone starts with the same weapon and there is a strong emphasis on teamwork. Balance is the name of the game in Halo 5. I enjoy the new mechanics yet many don’t since they weren’t in the older games. I loved the beta a lot and I’m a big fan of both classic & modern Halo, so I really can’t complain. I like the weapon balance and how automatic weapons are now actually useful for once.
The dislikes I had with the beta were all addressed by 343 in their beta feedback blog, so I’m pretty happy with the game.

I like them all, but the two I play the most are Combat Evolved and Halo 4. If I had to chose, I’d probably have to go with CE, but that’s because it was my first

> 5)What is your Tips?
You don’t want to take tips from me, but here’s a few anyway:
CE: Use the magnum
H2: Learn the trick jumps on the maps
H3: Lead your shots
H4: Don’t use the gimmicks & cheap tricks in your loadout (boltshot, promethean vision, camo, etc.). And try to be better than those who do. It’s more fun and satisfying that way. Defeating your enemies with a BR, frags, and thrusters, while they’re trying every trick in the book is a nice feeling.

Maps, weapons, vehicles, Big Team Battle, objective gametypes (capture the flag, king of the hill) there’s just more going on in Halo. So much to do and it just plays so well. It’s fun. But then again, I’m biased. Wait until Destiny 2, I’m sure they’ll have more going on.
Destiny’s PvP is decent and fun. I played a bunch leading up to the Master Chief Collection’s release, but since then, I haven’t touched it. That should tell you something.
1.) Halo is much more balanced and fairer than other current FPS titles.
2.) I’d wait until the XBox One’s price drops a bit. I wouldn’t get one just for MCC and Halo 5, though.
3.) Halo 5 shouldn’t have left-trigger aim down sights. 343’s just making Halo more like CoD with each game. It’s disappointing.
4.) Halo 2 and Reach are my favorites. if I had to recommend one to you, it would be Reach.
5.) Finish the campaigns before you dive into MP. Nice to get a bit of the storyline and a bit of practice.
6.) Destiny’s MP is extremely fast paced. Halo’s MP has more objective-based modes, and has a more competitive feeling, in my opinion.
Halo mcc is all halo games in one disk, so get it. Its worth an xbox one.
halo is a special fps. Most fps games have mediocre stories and singleplayers (call of duty and battlefield). Halo on the other hand has a great story, music, and campaign.

- It doesn’t rely on lone wolfing. In other games, whoever has the faster trigger finger wins, but in Halo it is whoever is more skilled and knows the maps the best. Instead of an insta-kill like in other games, it takes much longer to kill because of the extra layer of shields. This gives you a chance to flip the fight in your favor.
- I’d say it is. Sunset Overdrive is great, Forza is fun if you’re into racing games, and Ori and The Blind Forest (but you can get it on PC) is an amazing platformer. Couple that with a lot of media features, a great controller, Halo, and a large following, you can get a lot out of the $350 it takes to buy it.
- I think it is doing a lot right. While it does have unnecessary additions like a new scope skin and some useless spartan abilities, it overall is an addicting and fun game. It is much better than Halo 4 because it has equal starts for everyone, and no ordinance (or care packages in COD). It is much more classic Halo with a modern twist of mobility and a big learning curve. I recommend it if you can stand getting owned until you become skilled enough. But it’s not just about skill, there are also fun playlists that are just there to have a good time.
- That one is hard. I like CE for it’s nostalgia factor and campaign, I like Halo 2 for it’s long (but at some times bloated) campaign, I like Halo 3 for its soundtrack and art style, I haven’t played Wars, I like ODST for its dark atmosphere and open-worldiness, I like Reach for its emotional campaign and sometimes fun multiplayer, and I like Halo 4 for its killer story and great campaign. But if I’d have to choose, I’d say Halo: CE. It is my first, and has one of the best Halo campaigns.
- I’m not a good player myself, but I’ll see what I can do. 1) In campaign, for the love of God use cover. 2) Teamwork is the key to everything. A disjointed team is a bad team. 3) Don’t fret if you’re bad in the beginning, you’ll get better. 4) Have fun. 5) Form your own opinion on the series. Don’t follow the crowd on what game is better than the other. Experience it like you would.
- It’s slower paced, more teamwork oriented, more fun, has better maps, and overall is much more clean and polished.
Hope I helped.
I can give you some advice for playing Halo online.
-
Carry a precision weapon. A magnum (except in Halo 3), a Battle Rifle, a Carbine, or anything similar will be the bread and butter of your arsenal. If you spawn and don’t have one, grab one of these as soon as possible.
-
Pay close attention to your target’s energy shields. If there armor has sparks around it, that means their energy shields are depleted and they are vulnerable to head shots. (You can’t really tell in older Halo games though) If you don’t see sparks, aim for the body so your shots will be more accurate. Then aim for the head for a quick kill.
-
Count the number of shots needed to kill. Since the BR is the most common, you should know that it takes 11 rounds to break shields, so you can kill in just 4 shots but only with perfect accuracy. Other weapons take about 5 to 8 rounds depending on what you’re using.
-
Always keep an eye on your motion tracker, so people don’t catch you by surprise. You can, however, move without appearing on other player’s radars if you’re slow enough. If you want to sneak, crouch and move. You’ll know they can’t detect you because the yellow dot in the center of your radar (you) won’t appear as it normally would.
-
Lastly, learn how to use grenades effectively. Frag grenades can be bounced around corners, so use that with your motion tracker to hit enemies before you round the corner. Also, if you see someone and they don’t know you’re there, toss a grenade at them before you shoot. A well placed grenade can deplete their shields instantly, allowing for an easy head shot.
I know that was a lot of information, but hopefully it helps.

i agree with every one of these points i couldnt play destiny anymore though cuz after the update it kept freezing on me when it was 20% done so i sold it lol and 343 is really just copying from other FPS with ADS and spartan abilities like the built in thruster pack is like they took it from titanfall and changed it a little halo used to be the one being copied now halo is copying others thats not -Yoinking!- right

Umm thruster pack was in Halo 4 and evade (pretty much thruster too) was in Reach. Both those games came out before Titanfall. I wouldn’t call it ADS anyway. All ADS in others games slow movement and increase accuracy by like 500%. Halo 5’s “ADS” is only an animation change.
Also, there is this magical little invention called grammar which includes things like periods and commas. You should try it sometime.
yea well evade was better and thrusters in halo 4 didnt work very well lol
