Please keep this flamer-free, just some possible things I’d like to see happen to help out the community and get rid of monotony in the game currently.
- Snipers Playlist - This is sort of a staple in Halo, and why it isn’t in here now perplexes me. This would give players a new option to play, easily done on current maps (Make it RANKED) - Classic Playlist - This would possibly make all the haters of the game mechanics go away. Add classic forge maps designed with bare mechanics (removal of sprint, clamber, charge, ground pound, thruster) to give the game a Halo 1/2/3-esque feel to the play style. Would offer a wonderful mix of classic vs new gameplay. Maps could be redesigned maps by 343 or forge maps by the community. Could be SOCIAL or RANKED - Straight Objective Playlist - this will come with more added gametypes, I’m sure, but Team arena needs to either remove slayer or be removed in favor of an objective-only playlist. Should be RANKED - Social versions of all playists, minus SWAT - There should be an entirely separate social playlist set (possibly have the Arena menu separate social and ranked playlists) - More Forge maps - One thing I loved about playing MCC (regardless of bugs) was the massive amount of map selection. Don’t get me wrong, the maps right now are fine in play, but obviously they get stale with playing them ALL the TIME. 343 is currently adding maps, yes. But hopefully, they will continue to add much, much more to allow for a very expansive map playset. - More commendation/achievement-specific armors. Achilles armor idea? WONDERFUL. Now please add more armor sets that actually require skill/playing the game rather than buying REQs. - Less SWATnums in SWAT. Enough said.Obviously, alot of these topics have been talked about, but I wanted to have a post with a bit… nicer approach. I’m not incredibly angry at 343, because this game does play BEAUTIFULLY. It just has some areas of needed improvement, and I think most of these points are very easy things to fix soon.
