Well not like I need to put spoilers but anyone notice a few of the achievements are “glitches/tricks” from the old days.
How Pedestrian= If anyone would try this at first it’s “Impossible” the first jump you have to make, to anyone who hasn’t done this wouldn’t know you need to do a nicely timed grenade jump, othewise this wont happen.
I’ll Be Taking That!= Again first time playing this people wont know how to do this, they may try for hours trying to “board” banshees. Not knowing it’s all about little tricks, I know one was shooting a rocket in the right place, and I think if you can get down to the first canyon [down the bridge not using an elevator] that’s one way as well.Only two I could really notice. Yet those two jumped out at me because I myself have done these. And it makes me really happy 343i would put these in, because to the new comers it’ll be funny that they wont know what to do. Shows they really do care about this game.
Actually, the most straightforward way to get a banshee on AotCR is to just shoot one of the pilots before he hops into his banshee on the snowbridge in canyon 3 (or rocket the banshee to flip it).

They actually could still bring tricks into the achievements to some extent depending on where they stick the skulls. They could put one on a BBT, or in the Blue Hallway, or in the Rafters somewhere (THAT would be cruel xD).
Wow I forgot about that method, sad because I use that. If I remember you had to jump on a rock, you either sniped the elite or shot the banshee with a rocket so it the Elite couldnt get in. Good times. And thanks for reminding me that way

Jump on a rock? On legendary, you’ll easily get killed if you try to go for any of those rocks. Nah, you can usually shoot the pilot from inside the hallway.
I’ll Be Taking That achievement is super easy to get. There is a Banshee on a platform on the wall to the upper left at the battle where there are two Wraith tanks. You can place precision Rockets using the sniper rifle if you zoom in with the sniper rifle then switch to the rocket without moving the targeting reticle and then fire a rocket. If you hit the banshee’s lower area, lets say, the lower wing, you can knock it off the platform with one rocket.

It’s just a walk in the park:
Do the bridge jump trick thing, get in the hog, drive to the crashed pelican, get in the ghost, drive all the way to the twin bridges and get in the Banshee.
And needless to say, you can complete the level in the process. If anything, destroying 4 Wraiths should be worth 25GP. They take like 4 frag grenades IIRC and although the AR works on Easy, they’re quite resilient on higher difficulties. Due to the abundance of rocket launcher ammo, the achievement should have been:
Destroy four Wraith tanks in the level “Assault on the Control Room” with rockets.
That people, is the true meaning of Wraith hunter.
please don’t make fun of me, but i prefer the easier achievements. a couple of these, like getting through the library in 30 minutes or less on legendary seem a little too difficult
The i’ll be taking that. I worked out a system of systematiccly shooting the grunts in the head, and then using a PR to plasma freeze the Elite who drives the Banshee and then steal it.
