Some of my Halo Machinima

Hey everyone!

If you don’t know me (you probably don’t) I’m Tim/Timgie/Timlagz, whatever you want to call me. I am a machinimator. I actually make a whole lot more than I upload because 90% of the stuff I work on never gets uploaded because I lose interest :stuck_out_tongue:

However, I’m here today because I thought I’d post 4 of my machinima shorts that I worked particularly hard on. I usually use a piece of music as the starting point and the following films result:

Halo 3:
Spartans Never Die
A reflection on Kurt’s final words in the book “Ghosts of Onyx”. Lots of nice shallow depth-of-field : )
The Price of War
This one actually has some semblance of a story. A young man is eager to go to war. But what price must he pay?

Halo: Reach:
We Always Won on the Ground
This one is about ODST’s, Spartans and getting glassed.

Stupidly random music video. The only non-serious video of this bunch.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, I made a HMV montage on my clan’s channel called Ballads of Reach. Click the name to view it.

Hope you guys enjoy. Currently I am working on a Halo 3 short as well as a Halo: Reach machinima series that I am so confident in, I find it hard to accept that I’d ever ditch it.

One thing that really stands out to me is that the music fits the videos very well, that is one thing I hardly ever see, very nice.

I am planning on making a machinima series, but before I even think of starting it, I need to get a team together. I need people with experience, people that can add special effects, people that can edit videos, add sound effects, change lighting, all the complex stuff that I can’t do alone.

I am going to buy a capture card, I have a voice actor who is top-natch in my opinion, I just need body actors, and maybe a few more voice actors, I don’t know.

Anyway, I would like to make a story about some of the Spartan IIIs from Gamma Company that were not in the book Ghosts of Onyx. The only Spartans the book really talks about are Team Gladius, Katanna, and Saber. What about the others?

I’m already helping one other team out as well as working on my own project unfortunately. However, I’d be happy to help out with voice acting : )
