I did notice that the player base movement increased. So that’s a good start
Why is bloom there. It says Anniversary classic in the corner, and the movement speed is obviously increased.
The only way this is even remotely acceptable is if the bloom visual is a visual representation of how fast you can fire, ie you can’t shoot when bloom is resetting. And even then it should only be a slight reduction in fire rate to compensate for no randomness.

Yes, at least in part, apparently, as some others have said, it will be full auto and when firing full auto bloom will be more than simple “visual representation of how fast you can fire”

Just cause bloom was showed in the video doesn’t mean that it’s going to be in the Anniversary Playlist.

Well we haven’t seen bloom in the last few videos, and now we see an increase in base traits. We’re also nearing the release date, so its safe to assume we are getting closer to the final settings.
It didn’t look like the Magnum had bloom.
Besides the magnum, why was jump height so pathetic?
I think ill cancel my preorder and wait to see some youtube vids of the final multiplayer. After the release if bloom is still present and jump is as pathetic as in that video I just wont buy it, I don’t feel like wasting $40 on another Halo with bad game mechanics.
Hopefully they were just in some stupid version of anniversary settings that had bloom enabled.

Im a veteran of CE on windows for almost 6 years and we used to call magnum users “magfags” because without decent ping the magnum is beyond broken.
Watching that video made my jaw hit the floor, everyone in that video is horrible/pacing and there is bloom on all the guns.
Hopefully this isnt the final build, because I know for a FACT. people are going to start nerd raging so hard, calling CEA “a bad remake” when they probably havent even been exposed to CE at all, or outside of LAN.
Get ready for the reach population to drop, cause this is gonna make people break controllers and get on BF.
And honestly, I’d rather play zb slayer (I hate this game mode) than CEA with 3 bullet kill bloom. The kill time will not only be randomized but will minimize at about .3 seconds with the current settings. cough cod cough

Getting way head of yourself man. I Believe, from what I watched was a Visual bloom (Like the sniper) To cap the rate of fire. Seeing you can see others shoot the handgun in the background at the same speed, honestly are you going to tell me everyone paces at the same rate?

Its hard for me to imagine them sitting around in the office and saying
“HEY should we have bloom in anniversary multiplayer?”
“No everybody hates it, and i mean really yoinking hates it, especially the diehard Halo CE fans”

- bloom was in halo cea… the pistol only had bloom when you held the triger down though if you were to press the trigger there would be little to no bloom.
i dont mind it if its at 85% because then it will some what balance the pistol it might not be exactly how we remember it but in todays games there needs to be a bit of balancing… just my 2 cents though.
the one problem i seen in the footage was the jump hight, the run speed looks pretty spot on but the hight of the jump looks like its even lower then stock reach hopfully that gets changed other then that im really looking forward to it
I’m hoping for this visual bloom that everyone is talking about instead of actual bloom.
This game is supposed to be about nostalgia, not refinement.
Even if it’s using Reach’s engine, the multiplayer should still try to be as accurate as it can to the original. At least for one playlist.
