Some modest problems to an otherwise great game!

So when it comes to Halo 5 I’ve noticed only a few small issues to an otherwise spectacular new title to the series.
Most notably of these issues are simple stability issues with networking such as lag people walking around. The frag grenades are also an issue, the explosive radius is just a tad bit too large. I’ve also found the Magnum to be just a bit too potent compared to the assault rifle which feels almost neutered compared to its status in the beta from December through to January.
Some simple alterations would fix most of these very small issues, such as adding on to the magnums time to kill by one extra bullet. And a small reduction to the frag grenade’s explosive radius. I do have faith that 343 will tighten up there netcode and fix the minor lag issues with warping.
Otherwise this game is easily a contender for one of the top titles in the Halo series if not game of the year.

Game of the Year… please. Not a chance. It is merely good.

Actually that’s exactly what I said, so glad we agree.

Pistol is a 5 shot kill compared to the BR’s 4 shot…
Grenade radius is spot on considering you have an evade…
AR is perfectly balanced IMO.

What you consider “problems” most consider “balance”

I have to disagree

Grenades are fine.

Pistols need to be nerfed to a 6 or maybe even a 7 head-shot kill. I was tempted to say buff AR’s, but AR,s are fine, pistols are not.

I also agree that Halo could easily make it to game of the year. Multiplayer is an addiction because of how fun it is.

I dunno, the AR just feels a bit gimped compared to its Beta version which felt about right to me.

As for grenades, an evade is useful, but means little to nothing in Arena mode simply because all the maps available in Arena are so small that your evasive maneuvers either won’t move you anywhere anyway, or the simply put, the grenade spam becomes impossible to avoid.

Even a simple solution such as reducing players to only one frag grenade on spawn might at the very least reduce the grenade spam.

I think it’ll definitely end up as 1 or 2 website’s GOTY, but review sites usually give it to games like Fallout. Halo 5 is an exceptional game however, and anybody that disagrees just needs to get gud

its balanced with what we are given (nades are a bit too bouncy for me)

however Halo has a gold standard when it comes to gameplay/mechanics/physics

Halo 5 is the barter system. it does not adhere to the previous GENRE DEFINING aspects of its predecessors.

4 was a stretch but was Halo

5 is Call of Spartan Locke and Friends: Battlefield Edition

Some more input would be great.
