Honestly guys, I think everything about the game looks fine so far.
If there’s something you actually don’t like about the standard game in release, you’ll probably get a playlist without those things anyway, so chill.
There is one thing however:
Some names 343 have chosen for stuff, and the way it was presented, is limited, and probably is the main reason why people are raging.
For instance: “Spartan Ops”.
Yes, it sounds like Spec Ops, and while Carp of Duty did not invent Co-op missions, the name is very evocative of it to the simple minded and I would suggest something more familiar and generic.
Just call it “Firefight Mission”.
Another one is “Forerunner Vision”.
Seriously, are we going all mystical and -Yoink- in H4? People have likened it to Detective Mode from Batman: Arkham Asylum, but to me it sounds more like Eagle Vision from Assassin’s Creed.
Is it really hard to say “VISR 2.0” or something? Comon, guys.
Finally, if you want to do some shameless target market pandering, have Frankie appear on The Big Bang Theory during their Halo night and say:
“Hi, I’m Frank O’Connor from 343 and my Weta Warthog broke down in front of your building with a ton of pre-release copies of Halo 4 in it. Can I use your phone to call a dude from New Zealand to tell me how to fix this thing?”
I’m sure they can think of an excuse as to why he doesn’t have a cellphone or didn’t try any other appartment in the building.
So, yeah, that’s all for now.
