Some keys perform double action, cant pickup guns

Hello, ive played CE totally fine today… Then i quit and after 5 hours Ive decided to continue playing. After that Ive noticed weird behavior. When i press 1 or 2 weapon double or triple swaps and im reequipping the same gun (same is for grenades).
Additionally due to this, i cant pick up any weapon in campaign. Zooming with pistol is broken as well.

I decided to check Reach. Booted Reach campaign and everything was fine. It seems this bug occurs in CE campaign. Please fix it.

Try restarting your computer. Some people are reporting similar problems and suggesting making sure Windows is fully updated. Worked for me (although I’m on Win 7 which support ended on Jan 14 so idk what if anything updated).

I was having those same problems.

  • Couldn’t pick up any weapons. - Switching weapons between weapons was very inconsistent. Sometimes it would swap, but most of the time it would double swap back to the same gun. - Glitched zooming in with pistol. (would immediately zoom back out, or the sides of the screen would flicker black until eventually zooming in)Fortunately I just got it fixed! My Nvidia GeForce driver was a couple months old, so I installed the new version and restarted the computer. Now CE plays without any errors :smiley:

yes, restarting PC fixed it for me. however i cannot restart my PC at will… just an FYI

What if restarting pc didnt solve the problem at all? I still cannot normally change weapons\grenades and zoom in
