So i noticed somethings jumping back into to the beta since the early access. One major problem for me is that if your outnumbered you’ll get wrecked completely, which wasn’t always a problem, in past halo’s i had a couple options of sprinting away to cover or trying to go pro and take both down but that’s not the case anymore. Personally i don’t like the running mechanic in the beta. When being fired upon you can’t run at all and the time to kill is now extremely fast since weapons do a butt load of damage and on top of that they decided to add in that when you are able to run out of a tight spot your shields won’t regenerate so while you are being chased you’re near death and any attempts to stand your ground will end in a swift death. Today i played in a match where one of my teammates was kicked for inactivity, so it was me and a couple of new beta players versus a team of players that were seasoned and very good and it was easily their game. Which is why I personally think that the weapon’s damages should be lowered to make combat easier for 1 v 2 scenarios. the entire match i found myself outnumbered fighting 2 to 3 enemy players with little chance of surviving a fight. I also think some parts of the maps should be rethought since there are many circumstances in which i’m being spawn killed or shot from across the map do to the small amount of cover on both maps thus far. But i’m still enjoying the beta again I just think those are somethings that should be revised or at least be looked at. Because while it is halo it’s just not giving off any of those amazing moments i remember from past halo games.
