Some proposals to include objective modes in Ranked FFA. The adaptations are designed to avoid one-on-all overexposure and dilute the targets to make the experience less extreme and more reasoned.
MULTIBALL
It’s a oddball variant. Four balls on the map, one in each base (red, blue, yellow, green). You can carry up one, two, three or four balls at the same time. An indicator shows how many balls a player is carrying. You can shoot while carrying the balls. Carrying more balls earns you more points.
POINTS PER SECONDS OF BALL POSSESSION:
1 ball: 1 pps
2 balls: 2 pps
3 balls: 3 pps
4 balls: 4 pps
2 KINGS
A King of the Hill variant. Two zones present at the same time, one for each base (yellow, green). After 1 minute they move to red and blue bases, then they return to yellow and green, and so on…
An indicator remotely shows how many people are inside the hill, so that people can choose which one to go to.
You get points for standing in one of the two hills
4 FLAGS
A CTF variant. 4 flags on the map, one in each base but with opposite color: Blue Flag in Red base, Red Flag in Blue Base, Yellow flag in Green Base and Green Flag in Yellow base.
You can carry up one, two, three or four flags at the same time. You score a point when you put a flag in the relative base (Red Flag in Red base, Blue flag in Bue base and so on…).
You can shoot while carrying the flags. Flags cannot be reset.
