343i did say we haven’t seen the Ancient Evil yet. Perhaps they appear some time later. Halo 4 looks like it might be confusing at first

I was thinking Precursors, but I doubt they are the ones on the front lines. It has to be one of their creations. I see them remaining mysterious and hidden in Halo 4.

An even greater evil created by an enormous act of barbarity 10 million years ago, perhaps. Maybe even only the Didact and the Librarian know the solution to defeating this insane evil before it dominates the Universe or something. Just a suggestion.

All I know is that the precursors better be somewhere in the next trilogy or i’m gonna steal Frankies pet hamster and hold it hostage.
I wouldn’t believe anything you read in that article. Organizations that post articles based on hearsay and speculation don’t deserve any credibility.
Well other enemies isn’t a huge suprise. 343 has already said there were 7 new enemy types and we have only seen three so far(Crawlers, Watchers, Knights) So another potential faction of enemies isn’t out of the question.

Well, the less we know the better, at least as long as it comes to campaign details. That way we’ll still get our minds blown (hopefully) when playing, if the campaign is that good. Reach sadly was obvious from beginning to start, but unlike Titanic had no interesting side story or massive destruction 
I hope for a campaign worth playing again and again, and an enemy worth my fear, not just a random over egoistic bullet sponge from out space. An enemy like Bane (Dark Knight Rises), an intelligent and brilliant enemy that is so much more then just “regular badguy”, a prime example of how bad guys/bosses/ancient evils should be imo
