After loosing a match I got a message from a player of my team I should kill myself.

Realy? Because someone loses a match he demands from another to kill his own daughter and them himself? What the hell is wrong with Halo-players and videogamers in general???
That’s disgusting. You should report him through his gamer card. Such a nasty child needs a timeout from his video games for a while.

Back before I played Warzone with a Spartan Company we had some young guy in Warzone once telling us to go neck ourselves because we were good for nothing old bogans. Boy did that kid get given a hard time. For the rest of the match everyone who had a mic was on his case. I think some guys even plugged their mics in just to give him a hard time for his bigoted attitude lol.
A kid need an education. A serious one.
It’s sad because this kind of behaving give a bad image to the whole gaming community in general.

Effective, but the offender’s behaviour goes unpunished. There is nothing quite as satisfying as the Xbox live message saying “we’ve taken action on one or more of the recent complaints you’ve filed.”

Report the message. I’ve done it to someone before and they were banned from sending messages or using voice communication on Xbox live for a week. Atleast its something.
Its the internet, people will say anything to get a reaction. You shouldnt even have replied to him, he got what he wanted.

that is online play for any FPS, the best you can do is report the message microsoft has done a good job at banning people for things like that

If you report him I wouldn’t be surprised if they permanently locked his account
As the theme is going, the best you can do is report the message and block the account. Some people get really salty if they lose matches like that. I know that there are some times my friends send messages to people in a troll like fashion but it is never saying anything like “kill yourself and your family” that is wrong on so many levels.
Not as bad as some of the crap i’ve seen on here. Though with people like that I block and report them. Then I continue to laugh at their stupidity for getting so mad over a video game that they want you to kill yourself or they want to kill your child.

As a new parent and long time gamer I’m both pissed and sad that you had to read that. Seriously -Yoink- that guy and I hope he gets -Yoink!-.
Here’s what we’ll do… we make a new gamer tag, friend him, join all of his games not just halo but any game he plays online to gain his trust, then ask for his name, then google him find his address, buy some cool masks from a halloween store, ring his doorbell, and beat the -Yoink- our of him once he opens it, then take a video of us tea bagging him.
Or you can report him and hope he gets banned. On a more serious note I’m sorry he sent that to you, I would have raged out.
