Ok, I was waiting for the Crimson map pack to come out to address these issues, hoping they would be patched with the update that came with the crimson map pack.
First. Fix the file sharing system. It was a incredibly useful tool for getting community made maps, screenshots, games, and videos and now its in shambles. I was really hoping to see what my favorite map makers from Halo 3 and Halo reach would be making with all the fabulous new tools you’ve given us. I really hope this gets fixed soon.
Second. Why is there no theater mode for Spartan ops missions? Some of my best moments are in Spartan ops. I was really hoping Firefight would make a return in Halo 4 and while i’m sad it didn’t I do love Spartan ops. I really hope This one gets fixed fast as humanly possible.
Lastly. What was wrong with the old match making play lists in Reach and Halo 3? Can we please have those back? I (and a lot of my friends) liked them.
The only update that came with the maps was the playlist update. A title update is in the works that is going to address gameplay balance and sandbox issues, so MAYBE file share will be up then, but it might now.
As far as theater for Campaign/SpOps, there is some rendering issue that makes the theater really laggy/buggy. Until they have worked that out, it won’t be in either of those.
It’s a new company and they are trying something different with the playlists. When they add the CSR I suspect there will be more permanent ones, but we really have no idea until they tell us.
Which they won’t do until they know exactly what is going to happen, which is fine.
I hope so.
Spartan Ops has had a lot of issues in it but this is one of the biggest ones, it really needs some better explanation then that to explain it.
I know their a new company and all but there is a standered they gotta live up too here. Their almost there, just a few more inches.
