I personally think that stockpile might play better if players weren’t able to throw the seeds. It might encourage teamwork and vehicle play instead of matches being decided by one guy throwing all of the seeds halfway to base as soon as they spawn in.
Maybe then loading up a Razorback would actually have some merit. (Right now it gets ignored.) The entire pile wouldn’t move forward from just one guy’s doing. Teams would have to risk sending multiple people in to pick them up and carry them out. The pile would get picked over at a slower pace instead of ‘whoever gets there first wins everything.’

You would think those seeds would be a little more fragile from all that tossing.
I think tossing seeds is a valid strat. The game mode would be far too slow without it.

I agree, although even if they added sprint it wouldn’t be enough justification to remove the toss mechanic. Seed juggling, as I call it, is a great way to move several seeds at once while teammates defend the juggler.

I’ve had a game where that happened, it was fun. A power seed game where each side is more focused on stealing from each other rather than shepherding the neutral seeds around definitely needs a trial run.
