Halo Infinite is really great and everything about this game is perfect and runs smoothly.
I do, however, have a few ideas on feedback for the game.
-
Add custom servers and map maker. I’m not able to tell if this feature is being added or not as of yet as the game is so new but it would be pretty cool to see some classic custom game modes such as zombies or bumper-cars return.
-
Please implement multiple usernames. Such as USERNAME#0000 Instead of just adding numbers to the back of the username. This seems a bit redundant but in my defence, usernames are part of a player’s persona and they should be able to choose what they are called.

Blood Gulch should be added or perhaps a remake of the map. Blood Gulch was such an amazing map that most, if not all Halo fans played on at least once in their careers.
In conclusion, I think these features would make the game more appealing for not only new players but previous halo fans as well. I’ve spend most of my time on Halo Reach or the cut down version of Halo CE which was a blast and I could hardly contain my excitement when the new trailer for Infinite came out.
I also know that the game just came out and the devs most likely may be adding many of these features already so I’m looking forward to seeing them come out in the near future.
You go 343 devs! Keep up the amazing work.
Interestingly on the multiple username front, Xbox themselves implemented support for username + numeric tag a good while ago, e.g. Kaller#0330. I’m not sure if halo uses that system or not.
I would like to think the potential introduction of forge being teased next year would solve many ‘I would like X custom map’. Hopefully when they’ve had time to fine tune, there’ll be plenty more maps to come!

Forge is on its way and that kinda takes care of the custom servers, custom game, and blood gulch complaint, As for usernames I’m not quite sure what you mean, are you on Steam or on Windows/Xbox?

Yeah, you’re probably right. The game just came out so I doubt they would add any maps as they’re fixing bugs and tweaking the game as they go.
As for the usernames, XBOX Live provides two username options. One username for XBOX console players which is the multiple username format but for others on PC, the username format is unsupported so they always end up with numbers behind their username such as USERNAME1234 etc.
I’m sure usernames aren’t that big of a deal but I just think it’d be cool for people to choose the usernames they want.

Thanks for the info about forge, never knew about it so that pretty much clears up the whole map situation.
As for usernames, I play on PC, so Steam. I know that XBOX Consoles have support for multiple usernames but on PC, you get a number behind your username if it’s already been taken.

Some feedback and personal thought on my current playtime on Halo Infinite’s multiplayer:
My suggestions about the XP gained through challenges was heard and addressed. Some challenges might still have some issues like getting X amount of kills with certain weapons, (mainly power weapons like the gravity hammer, rocket launcher, etc.), but that’s a nitpick and I feel with time that won’t be nearly as bad since eventually new playlists will be added to add more gametypes and variety to the multiplayer experience.
As far as the gameplay goes, I’m in love with it. I played it back during its beta and had issues on pc with it even playing at all. On my Xbox One X it was fine at a relative 30 FPS. Here on my pc and my Halo edition series X, (thank you Best Buy), the game runs smooth and easily hits 60 FPS on both. Unfortunately my pc cannot do much better than 60 FPS on high settings but I’ll take what I can get.
One little remark I can make though is trying to find friends to play with and pairing up with them. On Xbox it’s fine but on pc I tend to have a few issues. Trying to join other people’s lobbies is a bit annoying if I’m meeting them through discord or steam. But that’s a small nitpick.
Overall, from what I’ve experienced so far, 343 Industries has done it. They have managed to make a multiplayer experience that caters to both casuals and competitive parties. The gameplay is solid with plenty of gametype and map combinations to keep me satisfied for a while. Now I await for the new armor to become available and for the long awaited day for SWAT to arrive here!
Thank you 343 Industries!
