Z-A4512 Translocation Device:
Allows you to teleport in any direction once before recharging.
MA453 Hang glider
Allows Chief to jump of a cliff edge and glide to another location; kind of like the Paraglider from BOTW.
Z-FG5417 Position Translocate waypoint marker
Allows you to mark your current position with a Forerunner device which shows up on your TACMAP and allows you to teleport there; good for marking points with good power weapons and going back.

all of these would be fun for customs / forge and maybe social. But they seem more akin to abilities without much thought of sandbox. So far we’ve mostly seen sandbox multipurpose tools as equipment. Ie multi-functioning.
Grapple brings things to you and bring you to things.
Repulsor allows higher jump and reflecting bullets
dropwall allows protection of both parties (if someone pushes thru it can be used against). And can be shot out by panel or the device it’s self to take it all out. This also allows for grenades to go thru holes shot which is another element of gameplay being added.
threat sensor is the one that -Yoink!- you directly (and your team) and is also the least fun of the abilities to use imo
thruster might also be an exception as well but we have yet to see the new take if strafing with a boost is the only thing it can do
the proposed equipment you brought to attention would be fun but they seem very player ability focused and not sandbox oriented. While I’m not opposed to their inclusion, I would like a bigger focus on said multipurpose equipment. It would be okay to also have player focused equipment but I prefer the focus to be elsewhere
