Im really glad they have achievements for co-op now i always beat it with a friend and it’ll be nice to be rewarded for it with some gamerscore, but on another note, where is the painfully hard achievement? Reach had if they came to hear me beg. and ODST/halo 3 both had the challenging vidmaster achievements and im curious as to what the challenging one would be in halo 4, what do you guys think?
If they came to here me beg wasn’t hard it was just that everyone did it wrong. I tried about 30 times and managed it 5 times but didn’t get an achievement so I looked it up and all you have to do is stop sprinting halfway down. So I try it and get the Achievement in one go. Really not hard.
On topic I think there should be less achievements for file share and stuff (though it’s cool how there doing Forge cheevos) and more achievements for special things like killing someone with a cone.
Ahem…There’s an acheivment in Halo 4 for completing campaign on legendary solo…
Just saying.
Keeping one of your marines alive through a mission on heroic is gonna be impossible!

I think you mean Anniversary’s achievements:
-The Library without dying
-The Library within 30 minutes
-Two Betrayals never drop either weapon
-Two Betrayals don’t kill any Grunts (punishing on Solo, piece of cake on Co-op)
-Keyes kill every Elite (not hard but it was worthwhile, learning how the game works)
-PoA don’t take health damage
-Halo on foot
-The Maw not flipping out of hog
Hopefully doing the campaign on legendary alone will be much more difficult then previous Halo games.(Even better with the added skull effects)

Halo on foot wasn’t that hard except for getting across that one jump in the underground tunnels.

Any confirmation on it? other then it not showing up on the Achievement list?
As in Halo 3 not all skulls were on a achievement list now all of the could be off for achievements.

Because these painfully hard achievments caused alot of boosting. i understand if it stays out of the multiplayer. But some of these achievements look very challenging. You ever tried keeping ever marine alive on Heroic? they are weak as Yoink! and kill themselves. you dont think that is hard? ya i thought so. there are tons of Spartan ops difficult ones. but seriously this is for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?nomobile=1&v=B1A-Ymf1VYY
I’d like to see one where you have to go through a level on legendary without picking up a health pack and/or without dying.
Legendary Solo will be the toughest. definitely harder than the pathetic CEA, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach Legendary Solos.
I don’t like how you can earn an achievement before even playing the campaign or mm. You start a forge map, save it, modify the game settings, save it, go to theater mode, take a pic, save a video, upload it to file share, change your armor, emblem and tag then boom, you have 8 achievements right there.
I guess they make up for it with some hard ones, like legendary solo and the “rescue ranger” one to name a couple.
…Also glad terminal, skull and easter egg achievements are in.
