Some Answers

- YouTube (Credit to LateNightGaming for the video)

So. i have been playing a lot of Halo MCC and Halo 5. with all the feedback to 343i i have been seeing in the community about these 2 games. i feel like people who want to know more about what happened during the development periods for each of them. if you haven’t already seen this video you should listen to it , it answers some questions we have been asking about since the release of both of these games. I hope that this video gets spread around and people talk about it.

LateNightGaming is a fraud who has been caught lying before. Don’t take anything he says too seriously; he’s just blathering to try to get subscribers.

When?

Well, not technically his lie, but he was caught promoting a story about a PC version of MCC. Supposedly his source was from a 343i employee; that source later turned out to be a troll. LNG simply doesn’t check his sources or verify his claims before putting them on the internet.

So then is this video true or not?

Who knows? LateNightGaming is not a reliable source.

I’m not saying that people shouldn’t watch his videos at all; I’m just saying that everything he says should be taken with a pinch of healthy skepticism.

Okay, calling him a “fraud” may have been a little harsh. Still, it’s best to be a little skeptical with his content for the reasons I stated.

I just find funny that all future Halos will be cross platform PC and Xbox. Why not bring the PC side up to date game wise leading to Halo 6. Side note isn’t interesting when Halo 5 was announced it was just called Halo Guardians with the number 5 missing? To me Microsoft got desperate changed the story and gameplay and added the number 5 to boost Xbox sales. As someone in marketing that’s what I would do.

I actually think that there might be some truth to LNG’s claim that H5 was originally supposed to be a hub-world spin-off called simply Halo: Guardians. It would explain some of the inconsistencies in the marketing.

Ha! LNG’s claims about a PC port of MCC have a lot of problems. His claim that a PC version of MCC runs quite well while the Xbone version still has problems is problematic, by itself. The PC port would have a lot of different hardware options and configurations to support; the Xbone is a single, standardized architecture. PC ports are notoriously more difficult than console versions, so this claim alone is weird. He then claims that 343i had time to “tinker” on the PC version before the release of Halo 5. Excuse me? Even if they did have the spare time between working on H5 and the ODST MCC DLC (which I doubt), they should have spent that time fixing the Xbone version that they ALREADY SOLD TO PAYING CUSTOMERS! That’s just one of the problems with LNG’s claims.

He’s admitted to posting erroneous content that he later acknowledged was sourced from a troll. Grow up, kid. LNG can try to act cool on Youtube and Facebook, but he doesn’t know nearly as much about 343i’s inner workings and MCC’s development as he claims to.

BTW: Go back to school, kid. You don’t even know how to spell.
