Some 1sts for the series features I'd like to see

  1. Custom armor in campaign. Maybe unlockable after you beat it once so you get to experience it as master chief.

  2. A.i. scripting in forge. Forge has been apart of halo for like 15 years. It’s time that 343 puts in the effort to give us the ability to create our own firefight missions and spartan ops missions that can be shared solo or stringed together to form a mini campaign

  3. Gametypes should be able to be edited and scripted within the forge itself. Enabling abilities like changing the objective on the fly as soon as an event happens. For instance its assault until the bomb breaches a wall to expose the enemy flag. Or controlling 2 territories simultaneously closes them and unlocks 2 more that you need to secure before the enemies base unlocks.

  4. Unsc needs a melee weapon. I’m sorry but it’s about time unsc got one with the elite sword and brute hammer.

I agree with you on both points, though I will say when it comes to Forge I am more of a player than a creator.

I know that Halo 5’s Forge has some pretty intense menus and scripting possibilities - I hope those come over to Infinite next year.

I will say the 1st and 3rd have already been done. And the last one I don’t see happening besides a combat knife, which wouldn’t be that interesting.

It could be interesting if the mechanic involved halo 2s long lost melee combo. Not have this weapon be an instikill. Instead of being a tier 1 weapon like the other melee weapons. Have this one be able to do fast combos with 2 button presses that makes it a tier 2 weapon and a step up from normal melee. The caviet being you need to maintain a red rectile for both hits… It would look kool with the multiple hits if they made a bunch of different fluid animations
