As posts have to be seen as constructive, here is me providing blatant common sense solutions to problems in halo 5. Now obviously this is common sense based so it shoild have been sorted ages ago but hey, 343 DONT RESPOND to anything. Anyways here goes:
1). POOR SERVER CONNECTIONS DESTROYING MATCHES. We all know that poor server connections caused by non usa players playing on usa servers is completely stupid. It is unfair to all players in a match and makes a mockery of results and ranks. The new update has in no way resolved this issue despite giving us search options.
SOLUTION: A region lock toggle on/off button. Then you can choose to play on home servers for longer wait times or go to other servers for less fair, but faster matching
2). BANHAMMER. It bans players for being booted off of servers people did not even choose to be on, causing ranking losses and unjust bans. There is a ban thread but it is by and large ignored.
SOLUTION: Region lock toggle option so you ae placed on the correct server and are then not booted on 343s end. Also a Banhamer review system where we can complain about unjust bans and have ranking points returned and bans overturned if found unfair. And some req point/csr point compensation too for our wrongful bans. At present the current system is not fit for purpose, which is frankly a disgrace. NO
3). NO DOUBLES RANKED PLAYLIST.
SOLUTION: Return it as ranked playlist for a season to test it out. Then see population stats. Be transparent about the stats so we know what is going on.
4). PLACEMENT SYSTEM. We have no idea whatsoever gives you a division placement as it is not purely win, loss as it doesnt explain several players beating champs routunely and being placed diamond or lower. We have no idea what criteria is used. In some cases final end of season ranks are 2 or 3 divisions higher than initial placements because the system is so poor.
SOLUTION: publish the criteria used in placing people so we know what gets you in each division. Noone knows and so many poor placements are made. We could then help 343 sort it so it places you much more accurately. If that doesnt work, then change the system.
5). VIRTUALLY NO INTERACTION BY 343 WITH PEOPLE SUBMITTING PROBLEMS. As we know there are hundreds of posts by players reporting very legitimate issues with the game but unless you are a champ talking to BRav and UNYSHEK on twitter, nobody from 343 responds to our issues. A lot are game breakers and often the same topic is reposted by tens of players a day and we get no reply, it clogs up forum space and then players get banned on the forums for bumping posts that warn other playrs of how to avoid problems.
SOLUTION: 343 empoyees respsond to the most common threads or do a weekly faq and reporting issues surgery where they respond to problems and acknowledge their existence. They also reply to others on twitter who arent just their favourites. It will mean more people dont give up on halo and the population stays higher. Seeing as the numbr of playrs playing outnumbers 343 testers by a significant margin they dont see every problem and we could really help them make the game better for everybody’
If anyone else can give some examples of issues with common sense solutions then please post them below. I am trying to be constructive so please try to not be sarcastuc when posting, no matter how frustrated you are with 343 ignoring your complaints
+1 for this guy. Could not have agreed more. There really needs to be a legit method of reporting things to change, bugs, MM fixes, aiming etc. Such as an actual bug report program with an official weekly or biweekly response to the submissions. There could be criteria for submissions such as tags to help group similar reports seperate from others. Seriously the community is very vocal about changes and bugs, but we get zero responses or at least acknowledgement to the outcries.
Thanks dude. I am trying my best to come up with solutions as i feel.we are at a huge risk of 343 alienating players as things stand. Players want to feel like their voice is important!
Its a shame, but lets hope they come to their senses. Anyway got another:
6). JOIN IN OROGRESS TO MATCHES CAUSING UNFAIR REQ LOSSES. In more social arena gametypes and wrazone you are often put into games already in progress when you dont want to be, especially if using legendary req points. So you lose the points you shoulf get if you lose and even lose out dur to games being too short if you win.
SOLUTION: make join in progress a toggle option. Or make it so we dont lose any req points like mission victory etc. if in a JIP game. Or where the severs kick you unfairly (see points 1 and 2). They should only apply if you start the match and finish it or it resets.

e also need option to play as covenant. There’s not enough classic weapons. And why cant we have req weapons in forge?
