Some people are happy and some arent with the idea that you dont zoom out when you get hit.
Why doesn’t 343 make it so you only get zoomed out if someone lands a headshot? That way if you are doing a longer distance DMR/BR/Carbine duel, whoever lands more headshots has a larger chance of winning, as they would in a normal fight.
I think this is a good idea because often a person who can land many consecutive headshots cannot zoom in because someone whos just firing shot after shot while hoping it might hit keeps hitting you in the leg/chest area…making it almost impossible for the more skilled player to get a shot off.
Anyone else think this makes sense?
I have only had a couple of drinks - This noobfest is getting annoying. If you aren’t good enough to quick-scope or no-scope, you aren’t. Don’t change how you unzoom because of that. Try to get better, and suprise the enemy.
I’m not a fan of this whole stay in scope even while being shot. It’s your biggest defense against snipers.
I am interested in giving it a shot though. May lead to more interesting encounters at range though.

you know, have you ever TRIED (with the BR its possible) to no scope a person in reach across hemorrhage with a bloody bloom DMR?
I think it never really annoyed me until reach, i suppose, with people landing random shots with bloom. Perhaps it will be much less annoying without a broken bloom system.
Didn’t they say it was a glitch?
I’ve heard that when you get shot at in zoom, there is recoil to make your reticule jump. Sounds way better than just permanent zoom and no cons, which would be terrible. For some reason, I found the shot at and zoom out in Reach to be more annoying than any other halo game.
