Solution to REQ Snowballing?

Do you think they should introduce some sort of mechanic where if one team is clearly winning that the rate of REQ generation changes? So a team with a 400-200 lead will regenerate its REQ’s slower whilst the losing team will get a boost? This way you don’t just get 20+ kills in a Ultra Banshee and then instantly spawn in another one after you die. Or at least give the losing team a chance to counter this by being able to spawn their own power weapons and vehicles to match their opponents?

I don’t think the teams has anything to do with it. Its just you get one team spawn trapped in a base and mow them down with vehicles.

Another solution would be to increase the number of capture and as a result spawn points as possible. So closer to Battlefield 1 Conquest with capture points out in the open you can quickly take instead of a few incredibly difficult to take garages that encourages spawn killing. So Warzone should more resemble a giant game of territories with REQ’s as opposed to this one sided meatgrinder we have right now.

So you either

  1. Change the REQ system to stop people getting 3-4 Ultra Banshee or 3-4 Hornets that make spawn trapping so horrible

  2. Change the spawn and capture point system to make spawn trapping difficult even with highly mobile vehicles

It wouldn’t surprise me if 343 goes down option 2 route for Halo 6 since any change to the REQ system is bad for micro transactions.

Personally, I think Warzone REQ leveling should mimick that of WZA, where every kill your team gets counts towards the leveling of the entire team. RIght now it just seems so slow if you get off to a bad start.

But wouldn’t that mean that snowballing would be worse because the worse players would share in those top six players getting 40 plus kills?

Perhaps, but at least the losing team will not be stuck at level 3-4 REQs when the opposing team is at twice that. I’m not sure, but either way, I believe there is a solution out there somewhere.
