While there is no 100% cure to griefers, I think this would be a good start - temporary invulnerability to friendly fire upon picking up a power weapon or calling in an ordnance. I won’t go into a great amount of detail since it’s fairly straightforward and I’d rather get back into the action, but if players were given invulnerability to friendly fire for say… 30 seconds to 1 minute after they picked up a power weapon, I think that would be a great improvement to the Halo series. I really see no way this could go wrong.
It’s just… really frustrating to have my teammate in a flaming mantis blow me up when I pick up the incineration cannon. Q-Q
So, I ask you fellow Halo 4 fanatics, do you see any flaws with this plan? Do you like it? Would you change anything about it?
Had a guy yesterday shooting at us with our own Banshee, killed me once, twice, then three times, at which point the boot screen popped up.
I quiet like your solution to that particular problem though.

Thanks dude. Good to see some support instead of the usual trolling.
I do wish that the guy that disliked the idea would’ve said why though… I don’t see what’s wrong with it, but maybe there’s something completely obvious that I’m missing.
The worst griefers are quite the patient -Yoinks!-. They would wait until the vulnerability wears off.
I still think the betrayal system should factor in if there are any enemies close by.
I always liked the idea of reflected damage.

This. This is an excellent idea as well.
The best solution to griefers is to take out friendly-fire.
drop a power weapon near the enemy base
pick it up
rest of team sticks you
run into opposing team base
???
profit.

I don’t even.
