Hey guys, I had made a post about how the game will not start and gives the following error message “Halo: The Master Chief Collection can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.” I have found a solution that has worked for me. Go to settings->system->storage->change place where new content is saved, then change the location where new apps are saved to TO THE SAME DRIVE YOU HAVE THE MCC NSTALLED ON. Problem solved, for me at least. Hope it works for you, cheers.
Mine was actually set to the right drive but changing it beck and forth helped. Even if I will have to do it each time, its a progress. Well done!

You are an absolute legend! I had to reinstall the full game (65GB!) TWICE before finding this post.

Try it with a USB stick plugged in. I don’t know if it’ll work but I guess it’s worth a shot… good luck mate
