Lol i know right.
True. Just had a game where the opposition were a 10 person team with 2 randoms. As normal we were all random. They had 6 people at our armoury before we took a step inside. They spent the whole game holding two bases and refused to take the last and just kept people at bay until they reached 950 points. Then they pushed for the core.
Something needs to be changed because I was enjoying a 50/50 streak for the past couple of months but I’ve just had 8 straight losses, all of them we were triple capped within 2 minutes (save this one although we effectively were) and 7 resulted in core defeats.
I know the response will be stop playing solo but none of my friends play Halo. The last company I joined tried to force days I had to be online and certain K/D’s to remain. That’s not gaming, that’s a job.
If they added that in everyone would be mad because other people didn’t have to do that to get Achilles.
My solution to this is…
Play with a team
Most of the people that I’ve been farmed by in the recent past already had the helmet.

I’m gong to put this as simply as possible. There is only one way to solve the farming issue. 343 will have to change the matching system so that teams face teams and randoms face randoms unless such a match is absolutely impossible and the spawning system would have to be completely reworked. Those two things are it.
Some people have suggested ‘core destruct buttons’ which would just be troll bait particularly since I have seen people firing at their own core in matches I later won.
Others have suggested a ‘safe zone’ with a shield wall inside an area of the base. This might help the issue particularly if it is paired with the first two things, but as long as one person doesn’t stay behind or go to the shield door then the farming will continue at an even slower rate.
Reducing the kill requirements or making Achilles free will not solve the issue. People will still do it in order to artificially boost their stats, because they are pathetic enough to think that matters. Removing stat tracking won’t help much either as some people are just -Yoinks!- who enjoy making other people suffer.
Surrender options would again be troll bait and even if they weren’t we go back to the core destruction where some people give up way to easily.

Sadly this is true. I’ve seen quite a few teams lately farm until they hit about 990 and then destroy the core, just to show they can.
There already is a commendation for coring.

Exactly!
Unless 343i does something to intervene (which they implied that they would, albeit it a Community Update 4½ months ago), there will still be farmers and griefers in PvP Warzone.
You can check my service record: since Warzone Firefight was released one month ago, I haven’t played a single PvP Warzone match. For better of worse, right now that is the real solution to Warzone farming! Since June 29th, my friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Arena Slayer and Warzone Firefight. I said several months ago that the proliferation of farming was going to have a negative impact upon the standard Warzone population, and I am rather certain that it’s now true.

I’m aware of that, but a lot of people would be put off from keeping the core alive for ages if they knew they had thousands of cores to destroy
