I don’t know about other people, but the only reason I quit (normally) is to leave a team that is horrible in the first place. I’m talking a team that goes 0 and 5-10 in the first minute of the match. Those people are players who are getting slaughtered while I and maybe one other person are getting the kills.
Also, the game unfairly threw me and many others into a match where the team is clearly partied up or simply much better individually than my team. The way I see it, there is no reason for me to stay in the game. But it appears quit bans are coming back despite there being no valid reason for them to be brought back since they don’t work.
So my solution to this problem. I encourage people that went on a quitting spree and are about to be banned to just go AFK. If you enjoy those games where you get slaughtered and just want to mess around and glitch and do stuff that’s fine. Anything to not support your teammates who were playing horribly.
That’s pretty much the only solution I see in a no win scenario where I’m punished for no good reason. Other than leaving the game for good and playing another game.
