Is there the possibility of adding in a solo playlist for firefight? I’m forced to que in US and EU servers to find game due to the lack of AU and SEA players. I don’t play PVP anymore for this reason but I’d love to continue to level up. Why can solo firefight contribute to the battlepass when the same game mode does nothing for the levelling system?
I’d honestly be all for the solo aspects of the game provide XP. I know that’d open it up for abuse, but at this point, who’d bother.
Halo: Reach on the 360 actually had solo Firefight in matchmaking and I used it all the time for grinding challenges. Would really appreciate it being brought back.
I see this as a valuable thing to fill in wait times for getting a game in the matchmaking queue. If it were an option to grind out stuff while waiting, that would be nice. Nothing beats beating grunt faces in while waiting for other players.
It would be cool to have an online solo firefight mode. They definitely would have to improve the AFK detection if they ever did implement it IMO. I don’t get why detecting AFK is so difficult. There just should be a program that can tell when some one isn’t hitting certain number of random buttons or going in different directions in a certain period of time. Then a prompt comes up that says hey hit these three buttons if you are playing. If the buttons are hit, player is booted.
This week I was playing 4 player firefight, at night had the same guy AFK for 4 matches in a row. next morning decided to get in a match before work, same guy ended up in my game and was AFK for that one too.
Halo 5 AFK boots but MCC doesn’t. MCC only boots idles in lobby, not after the match starts.
guy was most likely boosting the 20 firefight monthly challenge.
No rubber band, completely stationary. I’m guessing they had the game in front of them while doing something else, and moved the joysticks after the match to prevent idle lobby.
