- I just got halo 5 for my new x box one but every time I try to play the game after installing it from the disk and waiting the 12 hours for the 51 Gb update to finish I cant get past the first 5 minutes of game play and the npc comms play like a bad godzilla movie or not at all untill a ciertian point in the game, and then they all talk at the same time, i am alo unable to restart the mission from the begining it I do try it it will freez and crash. I was able to get past the first mision by deleating it and reinstalling with out the update in offline mode but i still run into the freezing partly through missions so I reinstalled the up date only to have the the freezing again and always at the same point in a mision wich varier from instal to install. i hae reinstalled the game with the update about 7 times now both from the digital copy and from the disk and have the same issues. The freezes so bad i have to do a hard reset on the console just to get out of it wich i have had to to do more than i would like to have done (dozens of times so far), and if by some miricale I dont get any of these and a mission runs smoothly it will hang up on loading the next mission with the black loading screen and the little wheel sitting the bottom left corner untill the game boots me back o the dash board. Wait till the update is done! And then see if that has fixed the issue if not you could try xbox support? As they are able to help

Okay my advice is wait for the update to finish like I originally said! And then the game will be fine, as updates are important as they may fix the issues you are getting

Again I am waing for it to finish these are happening AFTER IT HAS FINISHED UPDATING I have re-installed the 7 times now 51gb update and all. updating the game is when I get the issues. The only way i can eliminate all but one is to only play the base game in offline mode wich i dont want to do , but thats the only way the campaign is playable-ish. As I have already said >:(

I some how don’t think the xbox is the issue its less than a week old.

No Xbox support is able to help with halo game install issues ETC . So I suggest getting in touch with them thanks!

Nothing they have sugested me doing has helped and they are saying its a problem with the game.
