Greetings Halo Waypoint users and Halo players,

In 2003 }SoC{ started as a small Christ-centered* Halo PC clan promoting a mature, family friendly, grace filled environment for gamers of all ages. Since then it has grown to a family of several hundred members and has branched into many different games including all the Halo titles on the Xbox, Xbox 360, and the upcoming Xbox One.

  • We use XBL Parties/game chat/Teamspeak(on the pc side) to chat, meet applicants, play games, and have Bible studies,
  • You DON’T have to be a Christian or religious to apply, or even a gamer!
  • We also do not require any gamertag changes or emblem changes. We simply ask that both are appropriate

As a community:

  • We have a mature and diverse staff that is constantly looking for, training, and growing (servant)leaders.
  • We generally keep the atmosphere light-hearted and clean, and play for fun. (We do welcome the competitive types also!)
  • We play all the Halo games (Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Halo 4, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, and Halo 2 PC)
  • We play non-Halo games as well if you are into more than just Halo (i.e Black Ops 2, Forza 4, FIFA, BF3, and a whole lot more)
  • We have monthly events where everyone is welcome to join us!
    You are definitely welcome to join us whenever, just to chill out or play something.

We generally run monthly events called Play-Together Nights, where we all get together and play a game together, each event is game specific (Our most popular and most played nights are Halo Nights), and we try to accommodate everyone’s needs when we play. Just an update from the Clan:

Congratulations to our newest member: Demon Assassin

Additionally, we also Congratulate }SoC{Ell in accepting the invite to serve as a Junior Council Member, thank you for your time and service!

And finally, we also welcome }SoC{Alden as he has accepted the role of Branch Leader for our Minecraft PC Branch, thank you also for your time and service!

Additionally, with the Games for Gold promotion that XBL is doing, you can certainly expect a lot more Play-Together Nights from games that are Halo Related (Such as Halo 3, which will be released for free in July), and non Halo Related (Such as Assassins Creed 2, which will also be released for free in July)

I am SoC MCBEE and SoC has a great website forum also with a large xbox player base, I am the loner that is on super late after 10pm PST so hit me up if you want to play any of the Halos or Minecraft or whatever

Hi there, I’m a co-leader for }SoC{'s Xbox Live Branch. Tomorrow(Friday the 12th), our branch is having a Play-Together night. We’re going to play some classic Halo gametypes and maps in Halo 4, most if not all sourced from the Community Creations forum. The PT will start at 8pm EST, though if you want to show up later we generally play for four hours.

Anyone who sees this post is invited to join; we only ask that you abide by our rules which help maintain a clean and friendly environment for our players.

(Here are the rules:)

•Do not disrespect other players or members.
•No vulgar or profane names.
•No cursing, including abbreviations and partially censored text.
•No racist or discriminating comments.
•No bashing Christians, God, or other religions.
•No “online-dating” set ups here.
•No arguing with Guardians, Guardian Elders, or Council Members.(These are basically our equivalent of Mods and Admins. Branch Officers are included in this too.)
•No T-Bagging (this was a tough one for me for a long time)
•No recruiting for other clans in our servers.

We’ll be looking forward to any guests. See you starside!

To answer your question, yes its alright. (though I"m not all that sure by what you mean when you say jump on people)

Generally speaking, like I mentioned in our main post, we prefer to keep it clean. But we do exercise a lot of grace when people slip up with their language, but we do emphasize to keep it clean, and our members and guests do that real well.

For the most part as far as “what words are allowed/not allowed”, our language rules are:
