Are there any plans to fix some of SOFT KILL AREAS THAT are STILL being abused in MM
You can find them on almost any map in almost any playlist and it has needed to be fixed

I don’t know.
Hopefully they’ll do something about it.
Here is a list of official feedback threads for each map.
I’d recommend describing any map’s exploits or problems in its feedback thread. If it’s a community map, you may also want to PM the map’s creator (or contact them on other websites, if you feel that’s necessary) to ensure that they see your post. Most community mapmakers are good about fixing exploits as they’re made aware of them.
Doubtful. 343 hasn’t taken any action against it so far. With focus shifting to Halo 4, such a drastic change won’t happen.
I’d also like some spots that aren’t killzoned to be fixed.
Soft Kills zones are placed for two reasons, to prevent camping in particular out-of-reach places on a map, and because it is not outside the map enough to be an Insta-Kill area. There is a good reason for people to use these kill zones as an advantage, and good players know how to use them well. Take the S3 on asylum. This spot can be reached by all players, no matter the armour ability. You have ten seconds to put shots into every enemy you can see, which is a great way of clearing out a team who are camping their initial. If you can get a snipe up there, you can also kill any spawners in rocks by the time that the soft kill zone runs out.
My point is, soft kill zones are there to be used. Tell your team mates to shoot at him and you can easily solve your problem. Or if you’re searching by yourself, there are generally only two ways MAX to get out of a SKZ. Shoot at him in the zone, and position yourself so that you can see the escape route they will take. If you shots don’t kill him, the kill zone will.

Not really… They’re there because invisible walls would be impractical to work with in Forge, and because hard kill zones would be unnecessarily harsh.
I was speaking hypothetically. If they didn’t want anyone to access those parts of the map, then they would put hard kill zones there. But as you said, that would be too harsh and would deter a lot of people, mainly jet-packers, from playing certain maps or gametypes.
Maybe make it so that the timer never resets itself until you die and respawn?

I don’t play Halo to play with kids who fantasize about becoming mythical woodland creatures. I’m playing Halo to establish map control and out shoot the other person. That’s not possible when everyone on the other team is jetpacking into ridiculous areas (Blue Asylum ledge, Red carbine ledge, that giant wall on Uncaged…) Since you can’t set up, you just end up sitting in your base, or an area with ceilings until the next round of power weapons come up, and then it’s just another camp fest with occasional jetpackers poking out of cover to put potshots into someone.
Do you honestly think that sounds fun?
I can’t have my cake and eat it.
So, since I’ll admit I exploit soft kills almost every single match.
So don’t fix these.
I think the best thing to do in areas that cheep campers like to use is to place a teleporter at the popular places and have it send the players to a killball. Also having this instituted without warning would be just and beautiful.

The soft kills can’t really very fixed with JETPACK still in MM as thats how players abuse them – invisible walls would very the only way really
